Terms of Use

1.The app and your licence

PrepDeck is licensed to you, not sold. You get a personal, non transferable licence to use it on devices you own, for your own study.

Because PrepDeck is distributed through the App Store, Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement also applies. Where these terms and Apple's EULA disagree, Apple's EULA wins.

You may not resell the app, redistribute its lessons or questions, or try to extract them for use elsewhere.

2.Use it responsibly

PrepDeck is a study aid, not a guarantee. Its material is organised around the published exam content for California, Texas and Florida, but it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the California Department of Real Estate, the Texas Real Estate Commission, the Florida Real Estate Commission, or any exam testing provider.

Practice exam scores are an estimate produced by this app. They are not an official result and they do not predict how you will do on exam day.

Real estate law changes. Licensing requirements, forms and rules are set by your state, and your state authority’s current publications take precedence over anything in the app.

3.Pro

PrepDeck Pro unlocks the full course, every timed practice exam and the study tools.

Where a free trial is offered, its length is shown before you confirm. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged.

4.Subscriptions and payment

• Pro is offered as a monthly subscription or an annual subscription.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, at the price shown at the time.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID account settings at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for.
• Prices are shown before you buy and may change over time. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for.

5.Refunds

All purchases go through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple and not by us. Requests are made through Apple support or your purchase history.

We cannot issue, approve or refuse a refund on Apple’s behalf.

6.Your progress

Your progress is stored on your device. On iPhone and iPad it also syncs through your own iCloud account so your devices stay in step. We never receive it.

Deleting the app removes the local copy. Copies held in your own iCloud or device backup are managed by you, in your device settings.

7.Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that its content is free of mistakes.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including exam outcomes.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

8.Changes

These terms may be updated as the app changes. The date at the top shows the last revision, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
